Two Central Texas children with life-threatening illnesses are celebrating the magic of Disney this holiday season.
At a recent University of Texas football game, St. David’s HealthCare partnered with Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas to grant the wishes of 7-year-old Jacqueline and 4-year-old Clay, who are both battling leukemia.
As part of the presentation—which included UT mascot, Hook ‘Em, and a princess— Jacqueline and Clay were granted trips to Walt Disney World in Florida with their families during the holidays. Watch this special moment in the video below.
St. David’s HealthCare is committed to meeting the needs of its community—both within the walls of its hospitals and beyond. When facing a medical challenge, a wish can be a game-changer for children and their families, and St. David’s HealthCare is honored to have been involved in making wishes come true for Jacqueline and Clay.
