St. David’s North Austin Medical Center has been providing exceptional care to the North Austin community for 20 years. What started as a 118-bed facility in 1995 has grown to 376 beds with more than 1,700 employees.

Over the years, key service lines have expanded at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center. Today the facility provides treatment in a range of services, such as: women’s health services, including maternity and newborn care with Level I, II and III nurseries at the adjacent St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas; specialized surgical services, like the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery (TIRS); 24-hour emergency services within its E.R., as well as its freestanding emergency department in Pflugerville; the bariatric center; heart and vascular center; a kidney transplant center; neurology and neurosurgery departments; and acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, among others. Additionally, the facility opened St. David’s Children’s Hospital in late 2014, making St. David’s North Austin Medical Center the only facility in Central Texas to care for both adults and children.

Along the way, St. David’s North Austin Medical Center has received many accolades, has admitted more than 249,000 patients, delivered more than 64,000 babies and treated more than 880,000 patients in its emergency room.

It has been an incredible privilege to provide care for area residents for 20 years, and we look forward to providing the outstanding service patients have come to expect for many years to come.
